Front door
As mentioned in yesterday's post, I have been trying to figure out a creative and decorative way to cover the 10 glass pane windows that surround my front door on my new home. I wanted to give us a little more privacy but avoid the "frosting in the spray can technique" my husband used on our last house (ugh!). Finally after 3 weeks of thinking on it, I cut these old fashioned keys from my Cricut cartridge Sentimentals using black vinyl. There are 3 different keys and I was able to adjust the width and height since I used the Gypsy to create them before I cut them (love that tool). The window panes are about 12 x 6 so we cut the keys 11 x 5. Very classy compared to frosting in a can! The other 4 windows will have a keyhole in oval shape from Gypsy Wanderings. I will do them in silver but didn't have enough silver vinyl to finish. i will update the post when it is complete! Thanks for looking...
