Making cards for Operation Write Home

So yesterday I traveled to my old "hometown" and sat with some very dear friends and we worked on cards for Operation Write Home which collects handmade cards for soldiers and heroes who are deployed overseas so that they have cards to send back home to the States to their loved ones! It has become a mission I am very proud to be a part of and I am doing in honor of my two children who serve in the US Army. We did six different layouts and had about seven ladies working for over six hours. We ended up making about 160 cards yesterday!
